Inspired by Glenn & Linda, two imaginary popstar icons in the 90s, Glam & Linda represent that duo in the present day.
Glenn becomes Glam, his more extravagant alter ego, while Linda remains unmistakably Linda. Both return dressed in glitter, nostalgia and a touch of excess.
The painting brings the glitter and glamour of today back to the turbulent energy of the nineties. Mauve places the work firmly within Beerschot’s world, while yellow recalls the legacy and DNA of Germinal Beerschot.
A familiar past, recast for a new era.
